The 2nd International Congress on Cocoa Coffee and Tea Asia will be held at Khazar University in Baku on May 19th - 20th, 2022.  The participants shall sign in on May 19th.

Welcome

On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees, we kindly invite you to attend the 2nd international Congress on Cocoa Coffee and Tea Asia (CoCoTea Asia 2022) May 19th - 20th, 2022 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Following the success of the previous edition of the Congress in Europe: Novara (Italy) in 2011, Naples (Italy) in 2013, Aveiro (Portugal) in 2015 , Turin (Italy) in 2017, Hefei (China) in 2018 and Bremen (Germany) in 2019, we are starting the series of CoCoTea meetings in Asia, particularly focusing on the science of tea, coffee, cocoa, and related products.

The International Congress on Cocoa Coffee and Tea Asia 2022 will offer an inter-disciplinary opportunity for scientists to discuss diversity areas of Tea, Coffee and Cocoa, and to report innovative scientific achievements. These topics include biology, chemistry, technology, metabolomics, nutrition and health, Quality & Safety Control.

Food chemists, food technologists, nutritionists, medical doctors and /technicians from academic and industry, are warmly invited to participate. We welcome inspiring new ideas and strongly promote the participation of students and young scientists and we will be offering travel awards for graduates and postdoctoral scholar, and a grant to the best poster and oral presentations.

We are pleased to continue the great success of the previous meetings and look forward to seeing you in Baku in May 2022.

Special Issue

The 2nd international Congress on Cocoa Coffee and Tea Asia (CoCoTea Asia 2022) invites authors to submit original and unpublished work. The scientific committee of CoCoTea Asia 2022 will recommend some high quality papers to Beverage Plant Research, an international, open access, online-only journal. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in a special issue” CoCoTea 2022” with no Article Processing Charge.

The journal publishes articles in the following two major disciplinary areas，including but not limited to beverage plants such as tea, coffee and cocoa.
